Converting an old socialist mine into a modern digital operation can be challenging, but Anthony Lund, Director of Lazarus Mining has some solutions. Firstly hand-entry of data into excel is necessary. Next, mine operations should work to digitise plans of the mine such that grids and data line up with the correct special positions. Collar, hole survey, assay table and geological tables are all required for this process.
