In this session, we will look at a range of political and regulatory pressures shaping mining industries in the region, and explore the impact of environmental and labour regulation on regional miners. We will discuss key legislative acts passed by national governments, and focus in, in particular, on licensing and mineral rights law and its impact on exploration companies and new producers.
